Naomi Hirahara, Edgar-winning author of SUMMER OF THE BIG BACHI and many other compelling tales, and Deborah Atkinson, author of the Hawaii bestselling Storm Kayama mystery series and a highly rated non-fiction book for families dealing with substance use, collaborate at the Jackson Hole Writers Conference’s “Guide to Finishing The Novel in the Drawer.”
Active in numerous writers’ organizations and savvy about the world of publishing and marketing, Deborah and Naomi welcome writers of all levels and encourage attendees to bring a Work In Progress to the workshop, which will be four-plus hours of sharing, writing, answering questions, and how-to instruction.
The workshop will be held in two two-hour sessions on Monday and Tuesday, June 21 and 22 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Limited to 15 participants. $150. Deadline to register is June 5th.
If you have any specific questions, please contact us, and we will forward your query to Deborah.
This workshop fills early. This is a great option for the person who can only spend one day at the conference and wants to concentrate on fiction and novel writing, or for the person who wants an immersive writing experience before the craft, critique, and community focus on the conference.
