Nanci Turner Steveson
Nanci grew up in Connecticut, England, and Texas with a book in one hand and the reins of a pony in the other. A reluctant grown-up, Nanci is now the stage manager for Jackson’s Off Square Theatre Company, a riding instructor, and reading fairy to book-hungry children. She writes middle-grade novels (Swing Sideways, HarperCollins, 2016; Georgia Rules, HarperCollins, 2017) and is active with both the Jackson Hole Writers and the Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators. The mother of two grown sons, Nanci lives in a historic meadow cabin in Jackson Hole with assorted horses and dogs. She is dedicated to getting books into the hands of the homeless through her Literacy for Hope Project.
