Registration for the 2026 Conference will open in late March or early April.
Once your application is accepted, we will share a link to pay the $1,000 registration fee. Workshop registration includes lunch on the three workshop days and registration to the afternoon conference.
Please read all of the short critique guidelines before submitting your pages.
We will contact you for information about the teen writer.
Critiques
- Short manuscript critique requirements are listed here.
- Critiques are available for an additional $50 with registration for the afternoon conference.
- Afternoon conference registrants may sign up for one set of short critiques with 10 pages (max) from a single manuscript.
- Short critiques are given by local authors.
- Writers accepted into one of our intensive workshops are not eligible for short critiques in the afternoon conference.
Teen Writer
- If you are a parent or responsible adult, you can register for BOTH yourself and your teen writer! Register with the accompanying adult’s information. We will contact the accompanying adult for information about the teen writer.
- Contact us if the adult and/or teen writer would like to receive short critiques. Critique fee can be paid separately.
Cancellation Policy
- The registration fee, minus a $50 service fee, is refundable if you cancel by September 18th.
- Half of the registration fee is refundable if you cancel within two weeks of the cancellation date, or 100% may be applied to the 2027 conference.
- After the cancellation period, the registration fee no longer refundable, but it may be applied to the 2027 conference.
- After opening ceremonies on the first day of the conference, all registration fees become non-refundable and cannot be applied to a subsequent conferences.
