Connections

Fostering literary life in the Cowboy State and beyond

Jackson Hole Writers helps writers connect with each other to build the knowledge and skills to achieve their writing goals. We offer in-person and online spaces where writers can meet and build relationships of mutual support on their way to reaching readers.

Wyoming Literary Map

We are thrilled to moderate this crowdsourced, digital repository of literary contacts, organizations and resources created to foster a vibrant statewide community of writers.

The map is an opportunity for Wyoming authors, bookstores, literary organizations and more to get the word out about their work to local, statewide, and national audiences. And its a great place for lovers of the literary life to find out just how much Wyoming has to offer.

Jackson Hole Writers on Discord

We do our best to create a broad range of programs to meet the needs of writers. But, alas, we can’t do it all. What we can do is connect writers to one another in communities of shared interest and mutual support.

That is why we created a JH Writers Discord! We’ve made several conversation channels to help you connect with other writers within specific content areas to help you achieve your writing goals. From writers looking for starter prompts to those with a complete manuscript in need of beta readers, we’ve got a channel for you.

Check out our Discord and let us know what other channels we can create to help you connect with peers and achieve your writing goals.

Critique Groups

We have a long tradition of regular critique group meetings facilitated by authors in our community. If you have an interest in joining…or starting…a critique group to build a community of mutual support, contact us. We can provide guidance and guidelines for how to get a group going and how to keep it going.
